In Case You Haven't Seen It

Matt Lauer went to Iraq and interviewed some soldiers about the state of morale. They told him it was high, and he remained skeptical. He finally asked a young captain how they would answer people at home who questioned how the troops could be feeling so good about their mission. The man responded, "well, if I got my news from the newspapers, I'd be pretty depressed, too."

Video here.

Via Some Soldier's Mom, whose son is being evacuated to Germany for surgery. (If you pray, please remember young Noah; it looks like he's in good hands, but spinal-column injuries are worrisome, and he's still in a fair amount of pain).
